Route 8
The Cheshire police love to sit at the fire station mainly just to slow traffic down as they don’t usually have their radar on. They will also sit in, or across from, Beddard brothers, as well as the east side of 8 past the gas station. The state troopers, whose barracks is 2 miles north on 8, like these spots as well.

Hi there! I live in Adams, the 'northern neighbor' to Cheshire.
There is a female state-trooper who LOVES to watch for any driver using a radar detector, and she will FOLLOW, hoping to catch a forgetful speeder; and she WILL let you know that she GOT-YA', and will ALWAYS give a ticket, because you were DUMB enough to get caught with a radar-detector in your car... she LAUGHS at ya'! Fortunately, she DOES sometimes make that ticket a WARNING-type.
