On downhill side of Poncha pass.Speed limit 55,but is easy to get carried away.Watch for white Cherokee Jeeps and red Crown Vic.Red crown Vic is unmarked and stalks all over between Poncha,Salida,Buena Vista and Leadville.

Yes, definitely a place to watch going down the pass toward Poncha. Lots of curves for CSP to hide around. You get going too fast and then it's too late.
Watch for a gray SUV Chafee County Sheriff's Deputy who parks on the right hand side of the highway pointing toward Poncha Pass. He will get you as you round the curve.
