Rt 40
My parents told me about this one ("it’s been there for years") .. after I told them about my ticket. Seems they travel this alternate route between Columbus and Springfield because it is a nice drive. Many of us want to take that "scenic" route … to speed. Bad idea. Didn’t even see the change in speed limit or the cop. He made it clear: it’s 50 MPH .. not 65.

Actually it was the fine citizens of South Vienna that made it 50!!!! NOT 65!!!!! not the COP!!! Thanks, we just kindly asked him to enforce it for us.... Oh, and how can you say that it's a speed trap, when no where in the entire county does US 40 have a 65 mph zone? In the rural areas it's 55 and it's 50 in more populated areas and can be as low as 35 in the Big City!!! Dork.
