Rt. 9, N. Brookfield Rd

East Brookfield, MassachusettsAug 01, 20011 Comments

There is almost always a speed trap on either Rt. 9 or N. Brookfield Rd. They are 3 bored cops at a time in a town woth 9 sq. miles, 25 miles of road, and only 3 miles of any "main" rd. There is always one or 2 in a speed trap. Watch out for the fire station, it changes from 45 to 30, and the road doesn’t change, they catch a lot of people just passing threough there.

Comments:
I wanted to second the description as dead on accurate and accidentally pressed "not a speed trap." North Brookfield is where I learned how to operate cruise control on my car. Over 20 years have been hit three or four times (always somehow got off). On North Brookfield Rd. I always drive a steady 30MPH, driving the locals behind me nuts. The 3 (4 including mine) "It's not a speed trap" votes probably represent the police department. Don't need to leave this comment in (don't mind if you do, however), but please lower the No vote by one and increase the Yes vote by one. Thanks.
