Rte 9 & Ferry Road
There is a fast yellow light there and a police car waiting. You are going 50 miles an hour and the the light trns from yellow top red so fast you do not have time to stop, so by the time you go thru the intersection the light is red and a police car is coming up behind you to pull you over

This is not a speed trap, The yellow light stayes yellow for over 5 seconds. If you cant stop in 5 seconds your car is a piece of junk and you need to upgrade or SLOW DOWN
This is not necessarily a speed trap but a patrol car watching for those of you who run the light. There is a DON'T WALK sign that flashes to, among other things, alert you that the light is about to change. This is what I use it for. If it is flashing, I'm slowing, knowing that the light is about to change. Most intersections with DON'T WALK signs work much the same way. There is another just south of Ferry, at Spring Valley Road, the flashing sign is on the east side of the highway.
