The old road to Batavia is a through road defined by state law as 35 MPH, Williamsburg placed an illegal 25 MPH sign on this road after the Village Limit sign. As a matter of fact State revised code list the entire length of this road as 35 MPH. If you get a ticket FIGHT IT, you will lose in Mayor’s court, appeal and you’ll win in county court.

I can top this. My mom's property is directly across the street from the high school, the strip of highway in question. When Gary Nichols surveyed her property, the village limts do not include the highway in front of the school, it's in the township. The village line is approximately where the utility poles are on that side of the street.
I personally got that illegal 25 MPH sign moved with the help of a Township Trustee and the survey.
