Heavy laser and radar enforcement between Simmons Ln. and S. Novato Blvd. especially westbound down the hill between San Mateo Way and San Andreas Dr. Both motorcycle and patrol cars w/o roof lights are used. Posted at 35mph.

Novato hires young cops who stay a few years and leave. These kids don't fight crime but love handing out tickets along San Marin Drive. This poster hit the nail on the head. Driving by San Mateo Way over 35 is a ticket waiting for you. Novato did a sting in downtown with cop pedestrians. The police celebrated afterwards at Mary's Pizza with staff numbering approximately 20. One Sgt. picked up the tab. You can guess where the $$ came from? Novato used to have community policing. The cops were nice and cut you some slack. Now it's driver license, registration, here's your ticket. Novato is not a friendly place to drive nor is Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in Novato. Shop elsewhere.
