San Marin Dr from 101 to S. Novato Blvd.
Officers typically sit in private driveways (how legal is that?) partially concealed using hand-held radar guns or just inside side streets pointing radar down San Marin Dr. Worst offender is motor officer, who hides on his Harley and shoots from the hip. Posted at 35mph but traffic usually moves at 45mph.

They also park behind vehicles in the street, west bound near San Mateo Way. East bound they park in the apartment complex going toward 101 at San Mateo Way. One cop parks way inside the apartment complex and walk out to the sidewalk with his radar gun. Novato just got POST certified for the use of radar guns and now they have a new toy to play with. NPD used to patrol for crime, now they are abusing Novato citizens with extensive ticket writing.
