I’ve used San Martin Ave. as a reference point, but in reality, the trap encompasses the entirety of Santa Teresa Blvd. from Morgan Hill all the way to Gilroy. The posted speed limit is 45 mph–abnormally low considering most of the area is non-residential. Not to mention that motorists have excellent visibility as the road is bordered mostly by open fields on either side. The road is crawling with CHP. I once went to traffic school after being cited on Santa Teresa between Highland and Fitzgerald Avenues–along with myself, there were seven others who were cited for speeding on Santa Teresa (in a class of 22).
