S/B on 287 coming into town sudden sign 45mph, police radar within 1/2 block, No sign indicating “reduced speed ahead” etc. prior to 45 sign, while reducing from 65, radar at 58. Ticket for speeding. No traffic. No other cars. Obviously no traffic safety issues, just a fund raiser paid for by a car w/Calif plates. I suspect Public records would show pattern of tickets but no collisions or other safety concerns calling for enforcement at that location. He wasn’t there to save lives, he was there to fatten the citys income!
