Typically the police vehicle will shoot radar at Southbound traffic while tucked in under the power lines opposite the nursery at any time of day or night. Northbound traffic is targeted from the ‘Desert Scenic Drive" turnout a little further North of the nursery predominately at night – especiallly late, like after 10:00 p.m. Radar detectors always work on this stretch.
