Seaboard Street near Pine Island Road

Myrtle Beach, South CarolinaNov 25, 20072 Comments

Although this clearly posted 30mph (by the mall) the Myrtle Beach police are out here all the time. The sit on the side of the road near the mall and get you coming and going. Also be advised North of Pine Island RD to US501 it is a 25mph zone. They like to use the laser in this location….. Be careful.

Comments:
Four Lanes, grass divider, mostly open, undeveloped. North side has speed limit sign mounted to a power pole. Not on a separate sign post. The road is used to go to airport, think travelers. Grandchildren, daughters all in the car. We spent a lot of money on house rental, food, shopping, attractions, entertainment, will never go again. I had been driving on two lane roads through neighborhoods, curves, hills and posted at 35. Fool me once, stacked deck, stay away, vacation in Georgia, Florida or North Carolina. i will fill up with fuel in Georgia or North Carolina and stay on the interstate.

They have now increased the limit to 35 but it is still way too slow for the road. City police especially like to run their trap at the end of the month.
