Sharp curve in front of the school
I’m a senior citizen and had visitors from out of state with me on vacation. We got lost and ended up in Schertz. We were traveling down a main road, and I slowed down considerably because of a sharp turn ahead. Apparently I didn’t slow down enough. The officer claimed he clocked us at 44 miles an hour in a 30 mile per hour school zone. My passenger (another senior citizen) wanted to ask the officer for a look at the radar equipment to prove our speed of 44 mph. I discouraged that because my out of state friend is unfamiliar with how Texas can railroad people into their legal system. (I didn’t want my out of state vacationing senior citizen friend to get a taste of the Texas jail system.)
