Police often patrol these 4 lanes of Sheldon Rd. The speed limit is 40 MPH but the average speed is between 40 and 55 MPH. They especially patrol the area around Ann Arbor Tr because there is an elementary school and a middle school, so during the hours of school transportation, the speed limit is 25 MPH, and they will catch anyone going slightly over.
