Shoemaker Avenue near West Wyoming Hose Company Building
Usually the officer sits in the driveway of the West Wyoming Hose company right by the firetruck garage doors. There is an extremely large blind spot to people traveling towards West 8th street so they are not able to see him. Also, the speed drops from a 35 zone to a 25 zone with very little warning. The trap is between Brady Street and Johnson Street.

I am surprised that two people insist that this isn't a speed trap. I grew up just off of 8th street about 200 feet away and this spot has been a reliable speed trap now for about 10-15 years. I've even been personally pulled over there. More often than not they give you a warning. They always stick the fresh faced new cops in there and you can tell they absolutely hate it.
