These towns live off traffic violations since they’re too small to handle anything else. Go exactly the speed limit and obey all other traffic laws or they will ticket you. My friend got a ticket for rolling thru a stop sign at 3:00 AM when the police should have better things (DUI, for example) to watch out for.

Funny, "rolling thru a stop sign at 3:00 AM" is just the type of infractions DUI's do at 3:00 AM. Seems, on outward appearances, that the police were doing the 'better things' that they should have been doing!
