Cop parked in a private driveway using radar gun. This trap is at the Sooke end of a 5 km long 4-lane Sooke Rd highway 80km/hr zone, where commonly people drive 100 km/hr+. Cop incorrectly said speed limit there was 50 km/hr when in fact it was 60 km/hr. Fight every speeding ticket by going to court on every single one. I have been to court on about 15 over the years and have 75+% get off rate. Worst that can happen if you go to court is you will delay payment until then and/or ask for extra time to pay if you can’t afford it. 50+% of the time the cop doesnt show and the charge is dropped. Sometimes the judge will adjourn the court date tho. Clog the courts over this rediculous cash grab by the police state!
