Sorrento Valley Road
There’s a hill on Sorrento Valley where the posted speed is 45 but everyone speeds down over 60. The police usually hide in the parking lot where the hiking/biking trail on the bottom of the hill or the smaller entrance across the street from it (even more discrete, because you expect them to be in the parking lot but aren’t there so you speed up again). They also check for speeding traffic coming from the opposite direction and they usually do this from the business parking lots just down the street by near Vista Sorrento Parkway.
