Comments:
Yes this is definetly a speed trap. Temple police spend their time on the "safe" roads instead of protecting us from speeders on the dangerous roads. This road in particular is a 4 lane road WITH a turn lane in the middle. The extra 5 miles an hour from 45 to 50 would have NO impact on safety whatsoever. The hidden 45 mph sign is probably know to them as we are easy targets for the "go-getters". Streets like 439 and 317 that are packed with speeding cars every day and have NO turn lanes for safety at all is a constant safety hazard to the people that live on those roads. Instead of harrassing honest people that are not aware they are breaking the law, they need to spend a little more time where it would benifit more than just their slush funds. Residents are constantly getting rear-ended on these roads as more and more houses are approved to be built with no imporovements being made to the roads. Speed limits on these roads need to be reduced and some sort of law to enforce. Temple wants to annex us in so they can tax us to death and set up traps to extort even more money, how about a little something in return?
