Southwest VFD – Pony Farm Rd
This is both a speed trap, and a license trap.
So far its mostly been NC State Troopers, but there have been the ocasional Onslow Co. Sheriff. Normally in packs of two, the cars get parked so one is in either direction for speed traps, and license traps the cars are parked, lights on, and officers are out in the road wearing vests.

They are in Southwest VFD almost every time I drive by there. It's usually a Sherrif Deputy that I see, but occasionally there will be a Trooper. They also like to sit at the intersection of Pony Farm and Blue Creek Road, both at the corner, and back in the stone driveway between the power transformers and the Century Link Building.
