they like to sit just south of the intersection and monitor south bound traffic on Nessen. The speed limit drops from 55 to 25. The road is very rural with only two houses as you enter the tiny village of Copemish. Recent twist on this is for the sheriff to hide in a field next to Nessen Rd totally invisible to traffic and watch for people, south bound on Nessen, not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign. The only way to see the Sheriff is to turn around and look back over your left shoulder while at the intersection.
