Springsteen Road near Springsteen Road

Rock Hill, South CarolinaFeb 13, 20082 Comments

Police sit by road near Seven Oaks Subdivion or across the
street in a parking lot near Garrison Road. I always see
a Police in this area, no matter what time of day or night.
It is very hard to maintain 35 MPH due to the decline of
the road…….very tricky! But thank God for those who
protect our lives by catching the really bad drivers who
want to run over you just because you are trying to abide
by the law.

Comments:
I live on Springsteen Rd about 200 yards from this point. I drive through it several times a day. I rarely see a police car on Springsteen at all. NOT a speed trap. I constantly see cars speeding here. (However the part of I77 between Rock Hill and the state line Is and has been for many years.) No I have never gotten a speeding ticket there as I know better. Note - this part of Springsteen Rd is under York County jurisdiction and not Rock Hill City

I agree that this IS a speed trap. I attend the church on Springsteen road where the police sit. They sit in our church parking lot which allows them to remain hidden to drivers until the last minute. I am at the church many times during the week and see the Sheriff and Police cars many times sitting in the parking lot waiting for drivers exceeding the 35 MPH speed limit, which is very easy to do. I have also seen them down the street the Baptist church parking lot.
