The side of the road that the Columbia River is on there is a very small shed, in which there is a sand dune behind it. Travling toward Wenatchee the officer cannot be seen until you actually pass him and by then its too late. Traveling toward Quincy the officer can be seen from farther away it is mainly a speed trap for travelers heading toward Wenatchee.
