SR 776 at the Myakka River Bridge – Westbound Side
Charlotte County Deputy near top of Myakka River bridge going west on SR 776 in El Jobean. Deputy on bridge clocks traffic cresting the bridge, and waiting cruisers at bottom of bridge stand ready to give chase. Sometimes it’s just one cruiser with radar in the median at the bottom of bridge clocking traffic in both directions. This speed trap can be day or night, and the time of day varies as well.
