St Rt 73 (north edge of town)
On Rt 73, 1/2 mile from the center of New Vienna entering town from the north there is a Corporate Limit sign. This area is very rural but is an unmarked 35 mph area. In fact you will go 3/10 of a mile before seeing a 35 mph speed limit sign. Going from 55 mph to a 35 mph UNMARKED rural zone in a town where all other entries are very well marked right at their change of speed limit. Long term residents of New Vienna don’t know of the speed there. Many will find exiting town going north on 73 in that same area very rural and again not posted getting a surprise ticket.
