Stagecoach Road near State Route 100
The Stagecoach Road is an alternate route that runs parallel with state Route 100 between Stowe and Morrisville, VT. From Rt 100, the Stagecoach Road is a 1.5 mile stretch of straight, flat road that approaches a hill at the Stowe/Morrisville town line. Stowe cops sit hidden at the bottom of the hill catching speeders coming down the hill or those trying to gain speed as they approach the long uphill grade.

I commute this route every week on my way to Morrisville for grocery shopping. I've seen the speed trap on the Stowe side only once, but many times on the Morrisville side. On that side of the hill, the speed limit drops from 50 to 25 in short order and the Morrisville cops, who are less charitable than those in Stowe, nail folks all the time.
The police chief lives on STOWE side. So ...........
