Stark between Hines and Plymouth

Livonia, MichiganSep 28, 20112 Comments

For some reason residents felt the need to call the cops so they can set up speed traps and get drivers that are speeding, even though the houses sit so far back. One of the only residential traps you see is in Livonia because the residents feel that they are the only important ones. Watch for cops as they sit in residential driveways.

Comments:
As I commented on the earlier posting of this, this is indeed a speed trap. These people chose to live on a main road, so they have to deal with higher traffic and speeds. Farmington Road has the same setup and it is signed 40mph. Stark should be signed 35 instead of 25.

I have personally fallen victim to this speed trap. I work right on Stark Rd. where the speed limit is 40 MPH... so naturally you just keep going 40. Another co-worker of mine has been ticketed there too. Livonia is FULL of speed traps. The cops are the worst and they show no mercy at all. It's all about the money for them. I never had a ticket in my life until I moved to Livonia. Now I've had 3 in 2 years.
