The Glennallen area is called the "Hub of Alaska" and is heavily enforced, especially the summer time. This is an area of mixed population, white and Native American people. The Alaska State Troopers are merciless and will not give anyone a break. They are especially looking for DUI's. Do not drink and drive in any small town in Alaska. These are not Barney Fife type cops. If your license is suspended and the vehicle is registered to you, they will pull you over and you will go to jail. They have nothing better to do than run license plates. Drink and drive at your risk.
