State Highway 1 near Hwy 173 Road
Local Police sit on side road north of Hwy 173 and LA 1 intersection beside a sign for new subdivision or sit in median just past crest of hill going northbound. This is more common after dark when their black car blends in.

If your not speeding you don't have anything to worry about. Most places give you 6mph to 7mph over the limit.
