State Highway 1 near Seal Beach Boulevard
Between Seal Beach Blvd and Surf Side/Huntington Harbor. Mostly motorcycle type although there can be an occasional Patrol car that take up positions along the Highway. Mostly seen positioned between the bridge over the water outlet for the harbor and Seal Beach Blvd (SBB). Going South they might be backed into the curb just around the first bend in the road past SBB, in the Surf Side entry way just over the bridge, or in the Taco Surf parking lot just before the water tower home seen after making the final turn just after the Surf Side driveway.
Going North, they will sit in the driveway of the last condo complex before the section of Highway that goes through the US Navy Weapons Station and the other place is at the knoll of the hill at the last turn before going down the hill toward SBB.
On some holidays the Highway Patrol will set up along the Highway with multiple motorcycles to try to catch drunk drivers.
That area is patrolled by the Seal Beach Police, the California Highway Patrol, and Sheriff patrols.
