As you’re traveling north or south on Highway 1, police cars will hide on either end of Westport Dr., and wait for you to exceed the 45 mph speed limit to the posted speed limit of 55 mph or higher a quarter mile later going north, or wait for you to continue going 55 mph or higher after entering the 45 mph zone going south.
