State Highway 1 South near Exit Number Main St.
Hwy.-1 Southbound just past the Main St./Hwy.152 exit..This is a long sweeping curve in the hwy. and the CHP will set at the end of the curve with their radar…You cannot see the CHP until it’s too late, just as you are exiting the curve…Generally early morning enforcement..

I drive this curve twice daily on Monday thru Fridays going to/from work and have never seen CHP there. Should be inasmuch as drivers coming out of Monterey are now at 75--85 after the slow drive from Moss Landing to Watsonville. I often have wondered when did the 65mph speed limit increase to 75--85 on Hwy 1 north and southbound from Watsonville to Santa Cruz. And the pickups towing trailers!!!!! 75% of the are over 55. Cell phones are heavily used over this route, too. A camera on one of the overpasses would stop this.
