State Highway 100 near Around a large bluff
When just leaving Hermann east bound on State Hwy 100 there is a large bluff to your right and the Missouri River to your left and the highway makes a gentle turn providing a blind spot. On the east side of this bluff local police can hide in this blind spot. Posted speed limit is 35 mph. I am all for appropriate speed limits when safety concerns warrant them but the 35 mph in this situation is a bit low, in my humble opinion.
