State Highway 100 near Through Town
This one is for my fellow truckers, and it has nothing to do with speed but it is relevent, rte. 100 is prohibited to common 8’6" wide 53 ft trailers, but I can never find the sign going SB, (i’ve looked). If you go through Macungie there will be an officer waiting for you, neighbors say he gets about 50 trucks a day. The fine is $400 Take alt. routes

The truck limit is not through the whole town. When you get through the business district and at the traffic light at The "Subway" restaurant there are signs telling you to turn left. Proceed to RT 29 (The Trivet Diner) and turn right and you are on your way again
On the other side of Macungie at the top of the hill there is a sign posted that trucks are to head to Emmaus and turn left (at trivet rest.)to get back to Macungie where rt 100 and 29 split, (follow rt 29) to avoid ticket. problem with rt 100 on this streach is turns too tight to make and if you turn into country side diner you will bottom out your landing gear and lift your drive axels off the ground (seen it happen 14 times as of this weekend)
