Southbound. About a half mile after the Mt. Sunapee roundabout, speed limit jumps from 35 to 50. About 1.5 miles further, it drops to 30 on a downhill. There are warning signs well ahead, and there’s good reason for the speed drop… suddenly lots of pedestrian traffic crossing the highway. However, the cruiser parks on the east side (left) of the road, which is several feet below the road grade, with the lights dim or out, and I disagree with that tactic.
