State Highway 105 near State Highway 2854
Highway 105 is a five lane highway from Conroe to Navasota and thence to Bryan/College Station (Texas A & M University). This town drops the speed limit from 60 to 55 to 45 to 35. There are signs but the distances are short if you’re going 55 to start with. If you are stopped, the cops may well search your car, especially if you are young. The mayor of the town was quoted in the local newspaper as saying something to the effect that new radar guns would greatly increase the town’s revenue.
