State Highway 109 near Interstate I-40

I have been busted here. I was north bound on 109 crossing over I-40. The speed limit drops to 45. I stayed at 60mph (Limit was 55 before and was about to go back upto 55 in a bit). There is a park and ride there and that is where the cops hide. (I think the road there is called safari camp road). I went to defensive diving school to aviod having the ticket on my record and half the class had a ticket from the same exact location. So be aware on Hwy 109 on Wilson Co. TN.

Comments:
Ticketed here? You may be able to get it dismissed. If you were ticketed by an officer who was next to the 45 mph sign and who ticketed you for speeding in a 45, the ticket is wrong. Ask for a hearing and bring TDOT records (call them and ask for them to email the records) proving that the speed limit does not drop to 45 until that sign over 1-40. The officer who ticketed me mocked me before my hearing saying I couldn't beat LIDAR. Well, it turns out that if the officer lies about an additional 45 mph speed limit sign preceding the one at the bottom of the overpass, you can beat it. Since I was still in a 55 when he got me on LIDAR, the ticket was wrong and was dismissed.
