State Highway 12
In Packwood, Washington (and east Lewis county) the Sheriff and State Patrol will follow you for miles waiting for you to make a mistake so they have an excuse to pull you over. They’ve done this to me several times while I was vacationing there. This can ruin a vacation. Avoid this town. In fact, avoid Lewis county altogether. They obviously don’t want your tax dollars. 5/2008
