The City of Lynnville recently passed an ordinance to set the speed limit on State Highway 129 at 25 MPH between East End St. and Burrough Lane. This covers a large portion of Hwy 129 in the city limits. They sent letters to residents informing them of the ordinance and warning that it will be enforced. They also intend to begin enforcing a complete stop at the railroad crossing. The locals all got a warning letter in the mail. Out-of-towners should be careful passing through town.
