The Northbound Highway 13 to Westbound Highway 24 connector passes below an overpass and Highway Patrol frequently park behind the cement wall that supports the overpass. You can’t see them until they clock you as you make a sweeping left turn. The speed limit is 45 mpg but it is easily taken at 65 mph and many go that fast. Another place they hide is on the same connector but on the right side just as the 13 to 24 connector merges into 24. The sound wall jogs back to the right side giving the Highway Patrol a great hiding place.
