State Highway 14 near US Highway 80
The speed limit in this town goes from 60-45-30 all in less then 6 miles. If you do not know this, you will be paying a very heavy fine. It was several months ago but I do believe it was around $150. I do not live in that town, and had to drive back there to pay as it was only open one evening a week. There was a full house…

I just found this one. Driving along at 65mph, then before I knew it... there were the lights. I never saw the patrol car, he must have been hidden from view!
The main problem with this small-town court is they are only open AFTER business hours on Wednesday night, and no receptionist to receive calls during business hours... just an old fashion answering machine!
No probation program with the court either, you either pay the fine, or take defensive driving. Hawkins is the biggest joke I have ever seen!
