State Highway 154 West near Lake Fork Bridge
Trooper stops/tickets males incessantly from the Lake Fork Bridge east on 154 to Quitman. He stops women but doesn’t ticket usually–just has them get out & do the test walk. Avoid this stretch of highway, speed limit 60 mph, if at all possible. Quitman residents already take another route when traveling to Sulphur Springs to avoid harassment & tickets.

The wood county state trooper works from the hopkins county line all the way down hiway 154 south into Quitman. He don't cut anyone any slack. Be careful.

Does this guy not know that he is in East Texas? Folks around here don't put up with the likes of Mr. Owings for very long. I know he is young and trying to make a name for himself but that just doesn't work here. He needs to take note and either change his ways or find another location to work.
