State Highway 16

Port Orchard, WashingtonMay 18, 20041 Comments

As you leave Port Orchard going towards Gorst, after the Tremont on ramp, there have been several times that I’ve seen dark colored state trooper cruisers parked well away from the highway and any street light, almost in the bushes, after dark waiting to trap drivers as the speed goes from 60 to 50. One night, I drove past 3 of them lined up without any lights on in the bushes… I thought that was called entrapment. Be careful late night drivers!

Comments:
As you go west on Washington State Highway 16 from Tremont/Old Clifton Rd you will see the Speed Limit remains 60 Miles Per Hour all the way to nearly 3/4 Mile west of the Bay Street/ WA-166 enters Highway 16 when it goes down to 40 Miles Per Hour.
