State Highway 16 near After Loxie Egans Exit

Bremerton, WashingtonJun 17, 20072 Comments

There is usually an officer with radar standing on the side of the freeway near the sewer plant. This is also a "construction zone" (double fine zone). However, in the 10 years I’ve lived here, never ever at any time of day have I seen any construction going on.

The person who posted this has been driving here for 10 years and doesn't know that they are on Hwy3, NOT Hwy 16. Hwy 16 starts at Gorst, several miles west of this location.

Yeah. I see a lot of people get pulled over here...usually around the last week of the month when they need to fill their quotas. It's all about filling the county/state coffers now. Yes. It's very interesting that there has never been any construction on that stretch of highway, but you'd get nailed for double the fine, because it's posted as a "Construction Zone"! Hummmm.
