This is one of 3 worst stops in the state. University students driving south from LA Tech in Ruston on weekends and hunters in Kisatchi National Forest are the main marks, but the country jerk who makes his money ticketing people who do not intuit the drop rom 55mph to 35 mph (it's marked just inside the village limits) also enjoys pulling over young women. If you are driving a beat-up red pickup truck w/o current license plates, you're safe.
