The intersection of Route 17 (Orange Tpk.) and Eagle Valley Rd. has a light, even though Eagle Valley Rd. actually dead-ends there; it looks like a regular intersection because there is a dirt drive into the Sloatsburg parks across from Eagle Valley, and the police park in the dirt drive often. It’s a 35 mph section, even though it’s 4 lanes across (plus a turn lane there), and even 5 mph over can get you a ticket, at times.
