Highway 174 @ Kansas St.: The police like to sit in the gravel driveway on Hwy 174 below the white Water Tower. They will ticket people for not coming to a complete stop at Kansas Street (1/4 mile away from the water tower) and unless they are pulled out only a couple of feet from the highway, have no direct kind of visibility to see this violation, as there is a crest of grass there at the stop sign. I tried fighting this, but the judge kept delaying the court date to the point where I became wore out and gave up and paid the $64 fine. This city has more police per capita than any city in the state of Missouri.
