Utica PD does not use any type of detection equipment. If they think you are speeding you will be stopped and given a ticket for "unsafe operation of a motor vehicle". If you do not immediately stop for them you will get a ticket for failure to stop for blue lights and this carries a mandatory two (2) day jail term.
