Right as you approach the Bauxite city limits from Bryant, they can be sitting in the woods or right on the side of the road. They even go into the Bryant city limits, so watch out. They have been known to write tickets for going over 2mph.

Comments:
Take the 2 mile over ticket to bauxite police and they will eat it. but thats no possible because it don't happen.

Bauxite police hide from view from the roadway. This is only done for the purpose of writing tickets to generate revenue. Real police would prefer to be a speeding deterrent and stay within view of the roadway. Look at the state troopers. They are always within view. Bryant even randomly parks unmanned cars on the roadway for the purpose of being a deterrent. Chances are, if a person was speeding they would slow as soon as they seen a police car. Safety is ultimately the goal, not to generate revenue. right? I received a ticket in Bauxite. Officer P_____s was, admittedly, hiding in the bushes beside McGeorge Equipment. I was following two cars. I wasn't watching my speed, just going with the flow. He pulled me over at Mt. Olive Grocery, 1-1/2 miles away. His methods allowed me to speed that far. That is piss poor and cowardly, trickery policework Bauxite. Had he been visible, it would cause me to check my speed and I would have slowed. Maybe I still would have gotten a ticket, but I would not have traveled 1-1/2 miles doing so. The City of Bauxite has been in trouble with the Federal and state courts on more than one occurence in the past. It will happen again if they keep practicing poor policework.
