State Highway 19 near Main Street
Two regular part time officers regularly stop and ticket drivers, usually they are hidden, and they enforce the city 30 mph speed limit with no exceptions. Be especially cautious entering town from the west, as the speedlimit sign is at the bottom of a long hill which can lead to overlimit travel. These officers work all hours, but mostly days and weekends.

No worries folks the city of Henderson has big yellow warning signs on all enterences indicating a speed zone change at least 1500 ft in advance! After those signs there are more signs, about 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall that say 30 mph on them, really hard to miss! The cops in this town are not setting any kind of speed trap they are simply there to test the integrity of those who travel through town. Citizen safety is their number one concern, so if you get pulled over your best chance is to just admit that you were speeding and let fate take its coarse!
